Sunday scene in 60 – week 3

-Football fans appreciate things that come inside a glass– like an ice cold beer, and the pope. In honor of the papal visit, the Sunday Scene in 60 gives you this week’s 10 NFL commandments. Thou shalt start considering Derek Carr a strong option. He’s thrown for over 300 yards and two TDs in the last two games. Thou shalt surrender your weekly match up if your opponent has Julio Jones. Thou shalt not kill your weekly fantasy team by starting a Browns or a Ravens running back. Thou shalt never, ever mess with Tom Brady. However, thy Patriots shall take Tom Brady out whence up by 34 points in the fourth quarter. Thou shalt covet no one on the Eagles just yet. Thou shalt start Colin Kaepernick if you like touchdowns– for the other team. Kap threw two pick sixes in the first quarter. Thou shalt no longer consider Andrew Luck a top five quarterback. Thou shalt also run from the pox that has overtaken the hapless Bears and 49ers. Cardale Jones or Connor Cook, you may be next. If thy McCown brothers can throw for over 300 yards on the same day, Armageddon is said to be coming. Each week, one NFL player will be given the prestigious Shoulders of Greatness award, brought to you by Head & Shoulders. This week Devonta Freeman put the team on his shoulders, carrying the load for the Falcons with 35 touches and a 39-28 win over the Cowboys. Fantasy users washed away their opponents as Freeman cleaned up on Sunday, collecting 193 total yards and three touchdowns.
