We give up our time and to run three young girls teams with Randly Colts Football Club. It’s good for the children that come here, it improves their confidence, I think it brings different parts of Telford together because you’ve got girls from all over to Telford from different backgrounds different environments, different upbringings all into one – where they can enjoy him play football. What we found out was there wasn’t any girls football teams for girls to be able to play in. So that’s why we set up in this part of Telford and give some activities keep them fit socialising making friends there’s so much that comes with it it boosts their confidence. You do see a change in a child just by watching develop over a certain amount of weeks just playing football. It’s fantastic. We’ve got some quite talented girls which hopefully one day we might see on the TV I think. Kids, watching them grow as a person, watching them develop, watching their confidence grow, watching them win games, watching them lose games, watching them as them as a character build up, it is fantastic to see the smiles on their faces really. We’ve got girls who – you might now have actually realised, but they have disabilities. There could be personal problems as well at home and if they can come out – see and do something that makes them happy – them I’m happy. We have quite a lot of friends here so they like cooperate with us and we get better as we play together and they help us as we learn new things. We’ve learned new skills and how to actually get into matches and how to like pass the ball and throw in different skills. I would say come and join in because it’s such a great team and it’s very friendly because everyone has a chance to do what they want to do. It doesn’t matter what your ability is, you are welcome to play football with Randley Colts Girls. We’ve never turned anyone away so come and join us.
