Death Valley made spell doom for the Florida Gators when they take on the LSU Tigers Saturday as the road team has gone 14 straight up and ATS in the past five between the two teams. Now the Gators currently have a healthy lead in the SEC East but they’ve yet to prove they can hang with the best in the conference for more on this matchup here is Justin Hartling. Injuries have decimated Florida as the Gators have lost nine starters in the past two weeks. Luckily the defensive depth continues to keep Florida chugging along as they’re allowing just 13.3 points per game. Offensively the quarterback situation is likely going to dictate how the Gators perform this week as backup Austin Appleby got the start last week and perform well. Though Luke Del Rio is the future of the team, Appleby arguably gives Florida their best hope this week. LSU has done LSU things this season as they run the ball in play defense. Though Fournette is a beast in the backfield defenses also need to keep your eyes on Darius Geius. Fournette was banged up last weekend and Geius stepped in to take the bulk of the carries, and he tallied 252 years and two touch downs. In Geius’ five games with double-digit touches this season his averaged nearly a hundred sixty yards per game. LSU has done well at the betting window of late cashing ATS wagers in four of five while the Gators gone 3-1 ATS in their last four.
