College Football: Clemson Tigers at Florida State Seminoles

Posted by

The Clemson Tigers are marching toward their second straight undefeated regular season but their biggest hurdle is a trip to Tallahassee to take on the Florida State Seminoles this weekend. The Tigers easily dispatched of the Seminoles when they met last season picking up a 23-13 win but they failed to cover the 13.5 point spread. For more on this ACC matchup here is Justin Hartling. Deshaun Watson had himself a good outing against FSU last season, as the quarterback account for more than 400 yards of offense with one passing touchdown. Another critical part of Clemson’s offense is expected to be back in the lineup, as running back Wayne Gallman should return to the field after being knocked out of the team’s last game against NC State. Though Gallman’s stats have not been as eye-popping this season, he was averaging almost nine yards per carry in his previous two games before the concussion. FSU has been infuriatingly inconsistent through the first half of the season, as they’ve gone from fantastic to unwatchable at times. The defense continues to be one of the best in the nation thanks to Demarcus Walker and the defensive line but the offense has been difficult to figure out. Luckily, Dalvin Cook is looking like a Heisman contender recently, as the back has average 170 rushing yards and over six yards per carry in the past four. Clemson opened at -3 earlier this week and the OddsShark computer is predicting a win for the Tigers with a final score of 39.6 – 30.5. For more College betting info hit up OddsShark.com
